I will admit that it did do quite a bit to help relieve math anxiety, but the nature of the book is practicality.
A Mind for Numbers by Barbara Oakley (and her corresponding Learning How To Learn course) absolutely changed my approach to learning and studying. Applying the lessons made my studying many times more productive.
Despite the title it is useful for learning how to learn in general (not just math). Simple techniques supported by the research.
This gives you insights and practical advice on learning and it works for any subject, not just math & science.
