It is probably the best pair of books ever written for what I like to call “plug and chug” maths.
The classic "Advanced Engineering Mathematics" by Erwin Kreyszig was absolutely 'good enough'. Maybe even more important - for me: it was one of the easiest books to follow and digest during my undergrad.
