we are animals shaped by evolution. The human brain isn't perfect and makes lots of silly mistakes. I learned not to belive everything I think.
This book will remain unknown just by the virtue of it's weight - this is not 'how to feel better by meditating 10 minutes a day' pop psychology pamphlet, this will take some work to get through :)
Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst by Robert Sapolsky, it is a book that explains a lot of human behavior (it's soo complicated) and as I went reading a lot of "clicks" happened in my mind of why some people do what they do.
A fascinating multidisciplinary approach to explain what happens behind our most consequential behaviours.
this is not very well known, but it is an amazing book about why humans behave this way, it has genetics, history and lots of cool stuff in it.
