Born to Run (By Chris Mcdougall): A health book. Has really helped my running. Highly recommended to all.
It converted me from a sometimes runner to a full-blown run fanatic - marathons, and mountain, trail, ultra especially. It changed the entire trajectory of my life.
It's a fun read, and got me inspired to run my first ultra marathon.
even if one is not a runner, it is still worth reading the book. The author goes to great lengths to track the tarahumara, and to organize the race, in a dangerous region.
It is not a perfect book, but it did get me running, and in that sense literally changed my life.
A book which touches on how we evolved to be super distance runners and "persistence" hunters.
