I don't know if you've read any William Gibson, if not, at least read "Burning Chrome" (and everything else he's ever written ;-).
I loved Neuromancer and Burning Chrome, to a lesser extent count zero and mona lisa overdrive.
Every sentence contained a new word or three that the reader is supposed to guess by context or conversation.
The first story is "Johnny Mnemonic", and the last one (a story also titled "Burning Chrome") is supposed to be the very first use of the word cyberspace.
It might be worth reading the short stories in 'Burning Chrome'.
