when I did read it, it made me realize that the world works much differently than I understood it to on the surface, and that you should never trust any business or government at face value.
but it changed the way I think about geopolitical events. I usually try to find out what the economic incentives there are behind an event (e.g. wars and oil).
I don't know how much of it is true and how much of it is made up, it is definitely worth a read. I remember reading it in one sitting, shaking my head along the way multiple times
