A friend gave me a copy of this book following a crisis. He had had a similar experience and it had helped him. I read it 3 times in a row over the period of a few weeks and it really helped comfort me.
Fear - Thich nhat hahn, read repeatably during recent hard times. Might need to re-read again soon...
From last year (but even more relevant this year), Fear by Thich Nhat Hanh. I must have read it over 20 times when I was going through hard times.
I generally recommend Thich Nhat Hahn's book fear, for pretty much all situations, it comes in useful for most situations relating to change.
