Working successfully through those three is quite sufficient to understand proof-based college math!
IMHO long and still the best linear algebra book is Halmos, Finite Dimensional Vector Spaces (FDVS).
The central result in the book, according to Halmos, is the spectral decomposition. One result at a time, the quality of von Neumann comes through.
Axler's Linear Algebra Done Right, and Halmos's (older) Finite-Dimensional Vector Spaces are superior in rigor.
