It's about High Frequency Trading (algorithmic trading) and how the market reacted; and what a few individuals did to solve the problem. It's a seriously addicting book.
Specifically about the stock market, Flash Boys by Michael Lewis is a fun read and taught me a lot about what the stock market is.
All in all, I'm enjoying this book very much and have less than 100 pages left to go.
He takes his liberties here and there (especially with Flash boys), but he is an intelligent man with a knack for story-telling. Very easy reading.
