It's a pragmatic nerd's comprehensive view of ways to tackle climate change, and you know the author is deeply involved in some of the initiatives.
It provides a great overview of the climate change problem and all the components of the solution we have, the economics of them, and what is still missing.
He talks about how to think about emissions, and breaks down global emissions into its biggest categories (eg. transportation, electricity generation, etc).
I found it extremely comprehensible and well structured, other than I learned a lot.
Finally a book that approaches climate change from an engineering perspective and focuses on possible, constructive solutions.
