He's worked out the structure of Quality, in detail, and it makes a lot of sense.
Lila delves further in the Pirsig's Metaphysics of Quality (MOQ) which is quite fascinating. His dialogues on static vs dynamic quality coloured my view of the world for years.
Lila, the sequel to Zen... had an even bigger impact on me. I also found some of the ideas easier to take away and hold onto.
I think I may have even liked Lila a bit more than Zen.
