Its ci-fi, climate fiction, plays 10-20years in the future and tells eye whiteness stories about what people experience during extreme weather events. Plus how the global community is failing to address the crisis.
I keep conflating what I read in the news and what I read in the book. It gets in your head that well.
Really solid cli-fi (climate-science-fiction). Tells the story of a fictional United Nations that begins to seriously take on the role of ensuring the survival of the human species.
Loved the sci fi aspect of this book - especially the economic solutions presented.
