HN undoubtedly has a higher than average number of introverts who truly operate in an extroverted world. This book was absolutely eye opening in how it deconstructs different situations and personalities in a useful and positive way.
Reading something like quiet (aside from the fact that I feel like I'm a bit introvert) is a great way to expand how I see things, because it does give me new point of view about people and the world.
The first half surveys how many powerful institutions including churches, the US education system, and companies encourage/reward extroversion, perhaps without realizing it.
Quiet by Susan Cain, great book about introversion and why we have the "Extrovert Ideal".
While the second book, Quiet, although a little boring in some sides, made me accept my introversion (although I don't appear like an introvert).
Quiet: Figured out due to this book that introvert/extrovert is no black/white scale and that I indeed have introvert tendencies in me
