Bostrom makes some really solid arguments about what superintelligence might mean and many ways it could potentially arise.
This is a really great read about the implications of AI, or general intelligence. It's really intriguing and brings up so many scenarios I've never thought about.
It's a book that explores how superintelligence could emerge, the different ways it can take off and what it means to us as humans. More importantly, the book takes on the difficult task of figuring out ways to make sure the AI is safe and not land up in the wrong hands.
It provides a comprehensive but accessible summary of the research on the ethics and security aspects of prospective general artificial intelligence.
You all need to read this because it describes what happens and how an AI will eventually start taking over the world(s)
