This book provided me a good framework on how to be more effective at prioritizing my work.
I think book captured the recent modern practices ( last 10 years?) in one place .
Comparatively, TEE has more of an emphasis on project planning and team/company health, and I found that more useful for my work.
I found a lot of the ideas to be applicable to all forms of work. The ideas were well-explained and didn't require a software background.
I really liked The Effective Engineer because it had more systems thinking behind rather just how to manage a code project.
This is the best practical book on how to improve individual engineering effectiveness that I've ever read.
