A very good series. It has a light tone and mainly focuses on characters. Some books are better than the others. If you liked the 1st one then you wont regret reading the others. Not much philosofy of hard sci-fi ideas so probably near to your liking.
The Expanse books are great. The TV show is a pretty good adaptation too, but I love the portrayal of the characters in the books.
I like it very much; some books are better than the others however I recommend starting with Leviathan awakes (the 1st one) and if you like the characters and story continue with the others; if not don't bother.
The whole series was quite enjoyable and this is a fitting end to it.
Many modern authors will name a character in a text as a callback to some old story (rocinante in 'the expanse' comes to mind).
