this book changed the way I look at trees. I'll be driving some days and out of nowhere notice a tree and appreciate it.
an intertwining of lives, as witnessed by the oldest beings on Earth, putting things into a rather different perspective.
I totally agree, this was my best read of the year too.
One of the best things I've read this decade, perhaps this lifetime.
So beautiful but so morbid. I had to pause it as I started getting depressed.
I typically struggle with long books, and especially those written in such rich language, but wowee this book was a phenomenonal punch to the stomach
