It's well paced, has a very likable protagonist and has a nice sprinkling of programming/CS humor.
Premise is a software engineer is killed by a car on his first day of retirement and wakes up 300 years in the future as an AI consciousness. It has absolutely loving attention to detail regarding both software and physics sci-fi concerns.
And I always recommend reading it on kindle as he drops astrophysics terms with no context or explanation. It’s nice to touch the word and learn along the way. I didn’t know what a Lagrange Point was before, but now I do and it’s so cool!
Excellent read. Makes me want to buy the book and read through it again. I can't wait until the next one comes out in (March?)
Very entertaining sci-fi. I tore through it a a couple of days.
We Are Legion (We Are Bob) was my flat-out favorite series this year. I'm positive that a lot of HN users would love it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook We Are Legion (We Are Bob) narrated by Ray Porter. I just got the physical books and plan on re-reading it.
