Best book I've read in recent memory. Changed my understanding of the world and (maybe) our place in it.
This was definitely the best book I read in the last year and really changed my larger worldview and led me down the path into information and chaos theory.
It's fairly ambitious and sets out to link information theory, the emergence of life, evolution and economic growth all in one coherent story.
