Some of the most inventive use of powers I've seen in superpowered fiction and despite the bleak nature of the world, there is a lot of exploration of the human condition.
The characters in Worm use their powers so intelligently I didn’t even notice until something like the 10th volume that the alleged geniuses were behaving like actual geniuses
It can be a little hard to get into initially, first few chapters are necessary set up, but once the ball starts rolling its a real page turner.
