Made me have a more direct association of time and money and made me focus on the fact free time is more valuable than money (to me) beyond a pretty minimal point.
For everyone reading this, pursuing FIRE will impact your life more than any other book. Set the ball in motion and wait. Soon you’ll have time to enjoy all these other great books.
I went through the calculations in the book and it was eye opening for me. From then I did a 10 month 5000 mile hike and then lived in China for 10+ years. Absolutely made my life much happier and content.
